Qualifications VS Skills

I was pondering upon this… If you were the boss of a company, would you hire someone who has the skills and probably not the qualification? OR would you just take a degree holder who has never worked outside before?

Recently, there is someone who has been selected for a Manager position but I heard has not worked in a company before and is a newbie.

I, on the other hand, have no degree but is a diploma holder. I have had my fair share of work experiences and skills. I have worked part time ever since my polytechnic days.

I am just counting down the days till my contract ends. I don’t mind jumping on the wagon and exploring this opportunity if given.

So, as a boss, who would YOU pick?

I can’t afford a degree as family comes first but I can handle many tasks at hand and am a fast-learner.
